In Search Of: I recently had spinal surgery and have not been able to drive and will not be able to drive for at least another 4 weeks. relying on friends has not been working. So here goes... I have a friendly dog who misses getting out to the park or beach everyday, and I feel guilty that I can not accommodate her...I am having bad mommy syndrome. We live in an apartment without a yard. Is there anyone that would take us along to the park or beach once in a while or someone with a yard that would like a playmate? I can get around fine. My mommy and daddy love me lots and take good care of me but my daddy is out of twon a lot and my momy work 10 hour days. I stay outside during teh day while they are at work and I have a decent size yard. I am looking for a playmate that would be willing to come and stay with me durig the day so that I am not loney and don't whine and distrub our neighbors. In Search Of: My pooch, Skooby and I will be moving to a new home in 1 month. Skooby has always had a friend in the house to play with while I was at work. We will now be living alone. Skooby is an 8 year old Boxer approx. 60 lbs. He is not neutered and generally gets along well with non aggressive females, puppies, small dogs and cats. There are certain breeds he does not do well with namely, Pit Bulls, Akitas and/or any other aggressive types. In Search Of: Nippy and Tucker, two 10 monhts old Dauschand litter mates. We are SO spoiled, in fact we think we are HUMAN!! But we love other doggies. for some reason, even though we are SO small, we think we are as big as you!! We just moved here from WA, and used to have a HUGE grassy yard, but now all we have is a cement patio, and my sister Tucker, can jump over the wall now. So we have to stay inside in a crate during the day while mom & dad are at work until we find a yard to play in. In Search Of: Buddy is a black lab puppy. He is 10 weeks old and weighs 16lbs. Buddy is up to date on all shots, but still has more to go of course. Buddy lives in Encinitas, next to the 101, on the beach. It would be nice to set up a playtime at the elementary school north of the Cardiff shopping center. Tehre is a lot of grass there. He has been recommended no to go to the beach until after all shots, at 16 weeks. I am looking for a large breed pup close to the same age that would like to play on saturdays at this school. I am looking for someone that is willing to stick around as they play, so i don't feel responsible for someone elses dog. I will stick around as they play and read or something also. Any takers?
